Another month has passed by which means it’s time to share another roundup of beauty products that I’ve been loving lately. Last month was a busy one with a trip to Sweden thrown in the mix, so it’s been all about ease. Things that are foolproof and simple to wear, even if I’m short on time or out an about all day. Here’s what I loved most in October:

It’s so helpful to think of a few colors to stick to each season. Akin to my strategy in packing a suitcase, you want to minimize items you buy (or pack) and maximize the outfit options you have. Sticking to a few colors helps to ensure that any piece you pull out will probably go with at least a few other items.

My autumnal color palette can essentially be summed up by the colors in this dress—a few of my year-round favorites (I see you, blush pink!) plus a couple of new additions too!

My favorite season in London is easily spring, particularly because of all the blooms - the prettiest early spring blooms (in opinion)? Camellias. 

The big draw is Brighton Pier, but I found the beach, which is dotted with the most charming striped deck chairs, more to my taste and we admired their stripes them through our lenses.

The Boboli gardens in the late afternoon are magical. The sun seems to make everything glow and we spent hours strolling around, stopping occasionally to rest in the shade or do our best statue pose impressions. 

Since my husband and I are heading to Italy tomorrow, I thought it would be the perfect time to share this vintage-inspired look I wore this past summer that'd be perfect for our trip.

No other city has made we want to deck myself out in vibrant colors quite like Palm Springs - where all the houses seem to have colorful doors. Naturally I packed all the colorful dresses I own for our time down in the desert.

Because I have an obsession with matching my surroundings, I wore my pink flamingo-printed shift dress dress for our outing to 'that pink door.'
