Pink in Palm Springs
Lilly Pulitzer for Target shift dress | Zara clutch | Le Specs sunglasses | Essie nail polish in 'Sand Tropez' | Target sandals (on sale!) | Similar earrings here
A couple weeks ago, my husband and I left behind foggy San Francisco and took a road trip down to sunny Palm Springs! Among the many things on my to-do list was to drive around and take in all the fantastic mid-century architecture.
After finding out about it on goop's city guide, we downloaded the Palm Springs Modern: Mid-Century Architecture Tours app. Well worth the five dollars, the app guides you through the city and provides backstories and tidbits about the major architectural gems in Palm Springs. While we were touring around, I made sure we stopped by this pink door house (which wasn't actually on the tour, but seems to always pop up in my Pinterest feed)!
Because I have an obsession with matching my surroundings, I wore my pink flamingo-printed Lilly for Target dress for our outing. I love the vintage feel of this dress and it's bright colors were perfect for Palm Springs, where all the houses seem to have colorful doors. I paired the dress with some glam sandals and this fun tasseled clutch, along with my favorite Le Specs sunglasses (last seen here).
So, if you visit Palm Springs, be sure to get lost driving around the neighborhoods and check out all the amazing homes. I promise you'll find at least one that you'll dream of buying!
Until next time,
- B
