I’ll admit, I’ve googled ‘apple picking near London’ more times than I can count over the last few years, so to finally get out and do it felt wonderful!

This farm ticked off so many autumnal boxes. Squash, pumpkins and plenty of locally-baked goods were on offer at their store, but of course, the star of the show was the apple orchard. Sitting upon a hillside with views of fields, cows, and plenty of trees with beautifully changing leaves, it was such a sight for city eyes.

Not only is it practical, but it’s also very fun to tailor your outfit for your destination when traveling. 

I'm always inspired by the places I'm able to travel to, and that really reflects in my outfits that I'll bring with (and the pieces I purchase during the trip)!

When choosing outfits to pack, here are three things that I think about when dressing for the city we’ll be traveling to:

Chances are if I'm headed into central London, I'll probably also make a stop by my favorite spot in the whole city, Regent’s Park. I've said it before and I'm sure I'll say it again, it's the place I return to whenever I'm looking to clear my head or just need a breath of air.

It seems that so much time spent around the roses has begun to rub off on my wardrobe and I'm finding myself blending into this beautiful spot!

Initially, this blog post was going to be all about my new color obsession: saffron yellow. But then I looked at the photos and thought I'd say a bit more. Go a bit deeper. So, today, I'm going to say why you should never stop being curious. Never stop opening your mind to new things. And never shy away from asking a few questions.

Ever since spying these flower confetti fields of flowers on Instagram two years ago, I've been itching to go.

I love how a beautiful spot can bring together so many people (and bring out so many smiles). It's always worth seeking out places, people and things that make you happy. How perfect when I can find all three in one field!

Sometimes you happen upon places that just take your breath away—this display of rhododendrons was one of those spots.

It was doubly special for me. I'm a firm lover of all things floral, but secondly, rhododendrons are the state flower of Washington (where I'm from), so it felt like being right at home (while still in the city of London). I first spotted these stunners on Instagram and knew that I needed to find them.

Oh wisteria season, we've been waiting for you! It's a springtime phenomenon that turns London into a purple (and oh-so-Instagrammable) wonderland, and it’s easy to see why. This purple vine climbs so elegantly up the facades of London’s already beautiful homes.
