November Beauty Favorites

Zara Tortoiseshell Clutch (also love this one)

Anyone else feel like this month has absolutely flown by?

With a trip to Portugal, plus out of town visitors and plenty of items on my to-do list, November’s been a busy one. Each month a few new beauty products seem to find their way into my routine and become firm favorites. This month they all seem to be products that help me achieve a polished but natural look (with ease!).

Here are my most-loved products in November:

NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer in ‘Finland’

I recently ran out of my beloved drugstore BB cream that I’ve only found in America, so I needed a replacement. I’ve always been impressed with NARS products, so I started my search there. At their beauty counter, I was pointed to this tinted moisturizer that would give me sheer, light coverage. And because yes, I’m just that pale, I was matched with the lightest shade they make, aptly named Finland.

I’ve been really impressed with it so far—I wore it in this post and my skin looks so radiant. Plus a little goes a long way, so I know the tube will last me at least a few months!

CHEEKY Nail Polish in ‘Best Kept Secret’

and

CHEEKY Nail Polish in ‘Peach & Love’

You know how the royals’ nails always look so polished, but you never can discern what color they’re wearing? I’d like to think it’s one like Cheeky’s ‘Best Kept Secret.’ Its sheer blush shade looks very put-together and it’s a good color to wear if you want your nails to look polished without detracting from the rest of your look.

Okay, okay, so this ‘Peach & Love’ shade was a beauty favorite last month, but I’ve used this color quite a lot this month too, so I just had to put it on the list! I love peach and coral colors and this subtle shade feels like an easy way to wear them in the wintertime.

Eyeko Liquid Eyeliner in ‘Carbon Black’

I didn’t technically seek this product out—it happened to be a freebie included with a magazine. I usually don’t bother with those products, but because I’m always (really, always) trying to up my liquid eyeliner game, I decided to give it a whirl. I’ve since been reaching for this one above all others!

The felt tip is fine enough for precision, but thick enough for an opaque line in one go.

Lanolips Tinted Balm in ‘Rose’

This balm was actually a little gift from Briony.

This new-to-me Australian brand is so lovely—the packaging is gorgeous, as is the color of the rose shade. I’ve been popping this in my handbag all month since the blustery London weather can leave my lips feeling pretty parched. Would it be too excessive if I just bought one for each handbag? No? Good answer.

Until next time,

Brenda
