Changing Leaves, Changing Fabrics

Now that we’re a few days into November, we’re fully immersed in autumn. The mornings are crisp, the days are short and the leaves have gone from green to a gorgeous array of red, yellow and orange.

I use the changing leaves as a signal to switch out the fabrics in my wardrobe—embracing the new season by putting away the linens and lightweight cottons, in favor of cozier fabrics. And this dress, already a firm favorite, is front and center in my wardrobe.

Rhododendrons at Kenwood House

Sometimes you happen upon places that just take your breath away—this display of rhododendrons was one of those spots.

It was doubly special for me. I'm a firm lover of all things floral, but secondly, rhododendrons are the state flower of Washington (where I'm from), so it felt like being right at home (while still in the city of London). I first spotted these stunners on Instagram and knew that I needed to find them.
