As I mentioned in this post, we stayed at the Portobello Hotel during our time in London. It was a perfect spot - right in the middle of Notting Hill and just a couple blocks from the iconic Portobello Road. I chose the hotel mainly because of it's location, as I'd heard that Notting Hill is one of the most charming neighborhoods in London - and it certainly didn't disappoint!

Every street seemed ever more adorable than the last - rows of pastel colored townhouses and cheery pink painted doors, crescents of traditional Georgian architecture - complete with white columns and black fences and mews with unique detailing. We only were able to explore a portion of the neighborhood due to our time constraints, but I'm already hoping to go back, mostly to meander through this charming area just a bit more.

Until next time,

- B
