Lilly for Target - Favorites, Inspiration and Shopping Tips

Lilly Pulitzer for Target | Favorites, Inspiration and Shopping Tips Roundup | Sundays and Somedays

Unless you've been very internet and Instagram deprived (which can be pretty nice from time to time!), you've probably heard of Target's newest collaboration with Lilly Pulitzer. And yes, like past designer collaborations, this one is probably going to sell out before you can say Palm Beach. But not to worry! I've survived the Missioni collab a few years back and am here to help you come up with a strategy to snag all the colorful patterned items you want!

First: Check out Target's online Lilly lookbook to find your favorite pieces (there are women's, women's plus, children's, beauty and home goods to choose from). Be sure to click on the images to see whether they will be available in store or online.

My wish list:

Shift Dress - Upstream | $38

Shift Dress - Fan Dance | $38

Linen Shift Dress - Giraffeeey | $38 (A giraffee print? Need!)

Eyelet Shorts - White | $26

Challis Pompom Shorts - Upstream | $24

Espadrilles - Upstream | $24

Wedge Espadrille Sandals - Gold | $36

Second: Find some inspiration via other bloggers who have already gotten their hands on the collection before it's official debut on Sunday, April 19th. There's also a cute commercial where you can see the clothes and other accessories and home goods in use (and subsequently will want to immediately move to Palm Beach, Florida and throw a retro glam party!).

Third: Get your shopping strategy together. With you list of favorites, determine which need to be purchased online (see 'first'). Register at Target.com for a faster check out, save your favorites on the lookbook (click the heart icon on the product photo) for speedier shopping and be prepared to getup very early on Sunday to shop.

If you're unable to get what you want online or just prefer to shop in store, be sure to arrive when your local Target store opens (or earlier if you can make it!) on Sunday. With your list in hand, go immediately to the area of the store where those particular items are located (clothing in the clothing section, home goods in the decor section, etc.). And if you can, enlist friends or significant others and divide and conquer (in the same store, or different ones - since stock will vary by store). Keep calm and shop on!

If you need additional mentoring for Sunday, Melissa and Carly both share some wonderful tips as well!  Happy (and hopefully stress-free!) shopping this Sunday!
