We’ve just returned from the most magical long weekend in Amsterdam. I always say that I'll never love another city as much as London, but Amsterdam came oh so very close.

I'm happy to say that we were able to do everything on our list, plus find some unexpected gems along the way. Here's how we spent our long weekend in Amsterdam.

Those are just a few of the (many) questions I've gotten asked by friends, family and even acquaintances since I decided to leave my full-time earlier this year. I’ve been a bit coy about it so far, but I’ve decided recently to really put effort into my blog to see where it goes. It’s scary - what will people think? Is my content good enough? Will anyone be reading?

Few things make me happier than days spent in Notting Hill, in part because of the pastel townhomes that always put a smile on my face. As it was Easter, I also added to the pastel theme with the details of my outfit, and I of course had to snap some photos.

Better really (like, really) late than never, so here are a few photos from last summer when we flew out to Chicago for a family wedding. I was a bit nervous, as I'd be meeting quite a few of my husband's family members for the first time. And even more nervous because I hadn't yet chosen what to wear (or even brought a dress with me!).

Today's the beginning of a beautiful...series: Ten Things. Every so often, I'll pull together ten of my favorite finds from around the web, sometimes themed, like today, and sometimes not.

For the first edition, I'm talking ten things I'm packing in my suitcase for our upcoming trip to Tulum, Mexico.

This is how I dress for those awkward months where it feels like winter, but looks like spring. Covered in blooms from head to toe, my outfit does quite literally look the like coming season but I'm still warm enough for the current chilly temperatures.

Lindsay and I are fast friends from work and have our own dinner club - LINDA (for Lindsay and Brenda, of course) and this trip to Paris was a celebration of our tenth outing. Yes, our dinner club's occasionally indulgent - and that's the point! 

Change - planned or not - is transformative, and almost always in a good way. So here's to some more planned changes, in the form of New Year's resolutions.

A change in season is always so refreshing - most importantly because you have an excuse to make some additions to the wardrobe and today I'm talking shoes.
