Roses are Red
Want to know a secret? Despite working with blooms and sharing photos of flowers on my feed, I almost never have them in the house! And if I do, they’re usually behind a closed door rather than proudly on display.
I blame our two mischievous cats who’ll chew on anything new that enters our home. So despite loving flowers, I really prefer my blooms on my sleeves. So of course I fell for this stunning dress:
How I'm Shopping Strategically for Fall
Earlier this year, I realized that I was spending more that I should on clothes and that many of said clothes didn’t pair together all too well! Fed up with feeling like I had nothing to wear despite regularly adding to my closet, I decided think more intentionally when adding new pieces to my wardrobe.
Here’s how I’ve started shopping (and dressing) more strategically for fall:
Pink House, Blue Bag
Few things make me happier than days spent in Notting Hill, in part because of the pastel townhomes that always put a smile on my face. As it was Easter, I also added to the pastel theme with the details of my outfit, and I of course had to snap some photos.
A City Wedding In Chicago
Better really (like, really) late than never, so here are a few photos from last summer when we flew out to Chicago for a family wedding. I was a bit nervous, as I'd be meeting quite a few of my husband's family members for the first time. And even more nervous because I hadn't yet chosen what to wear (or even brought a dress with me!).
Sundays at Hampstead Heath
Few places in London are more visually striking than Hampstead Heath and it's one of my very favorite places to spend a day, particularly the open fields near Kenwood House.
Wandering through the Willows
My favorite weekend activity is a walk through one of the London's many parks. This past weekend, we we decided to take a stroll through Regent's park and get lost in the willows.
Feels Like Fall
I could walk all day in these boots - they're perfectly comfortable and keep my legs warm in the chilly weather, meaning I'll be able to wear my shorter dresses well into fall and winter without getting too cold.
