Highway 1

At the end of this month, my husband and I will be road tripping from San Francisco to Los Angeles via Highway 1. In anticipation of that trip to southern California, I'm reminiscing about last year, when I drove a stretch of the highway in the northern half of the state. So in honor of #throwbackthursday, I'm sharing some photos I took along the way. I love how the overcast day lent such a moody, even salty, feel to the pictures. It seems like every turn of the road reveals a gorgeous scene - it's hard to take a bad photo! I'm looking forward to driving further south and taking in more of the breathtaking scenery!
