I love the look of Diptyque candles - their labels, with classic black and white font, are little works of art. During a recent trip to the San Francisco store, I came across a little booklet listing and describing all of Diptyque's scents along with printed images of the labels. Then a wonderful idea hit me. Instead of buying a plethora of rather pricy candles, I can simply adorn my walls with the pages from a free booklet!

This is a simple and inexpensive do-it-yourself project that makes a majorly chic statement. Here's how to do it in 3 easy steps!

Supplies needed

  • Diptyque booklet (ask for one in store)
  • Exacto knife
  • Cutting board
  • Ribba frame from IKEA (or any other 4 x 6 frame of your choice)

1. Place the cutting board on a flat, stable surface.

2. Place the Diptyque booklet on the cutting board and with the exacto knife, carefully cut out each page you desire to use (cutting as close to the spine as possible).

3. Frame it in the Ribba!

Now I just need to figure out how to hang up a gallery wall!

Until next time,

- B
