Hello again! It's been a busy few weeks, as we've just found out we'll be moving to London this fall! Getting the opportunity to live in another country is a dream come true for my husband and I. Since our move is coming up fairly soon, we're making an effort to take advantage of all the wonderful things that a California summer has to offer. We've lived in San Francisco for a little over a year and there are still a few things we'd like to do and see before we pack up and head across the pond.

One of my favorite summer pastimes growing up was picking blackberries with my family, but I haven't done so in years. Since the California coastline south of San Francisco is home to quite a few fruit farms, this past Saturday my husband and I made the trip to Swanton Berry Farm to pick some ripe olallieberries.

The sun was out, so I wore this Topshop dress I bought a couple weeks ago. Admittedly, it's not the most practical outfit for berry picking, but the red, white, and blue stripes made me feel summery and cheerful. I threw on my trusty Hunter boots to combat the dust and topped the look off with sunglasses and a red lip. The drive, the sunshine, the fresh berries and a chance to wear a newfound favorite dress - all in all, a perfect California day!
