2015 is here! Although I like to reflect upon my life and goals throughout the year, there really is no better time to do so that than New Year's Day. It's generally a quiet day. The excitement and hubbub of the last few weeks has come to an end. Work has not yet started and I can finally find some time to myself to ponder what I'd like to achieve in the next twelve months.
Sometime last year, I found this survey and thought it would be a perfect way to capture my goals. It's a fun little way to do some self reflection and start the year off in a good mindset. So without further ado, here are my resolutions for 2015:
A bad habit I'm going to break | Not being up front with my feelings.
A destination I'd like to visit | I've already planned a trip to London and Paris in the spring, but I'd also like to explore more of California this year. Specifically, Yosemite, Lake Tahoe and Big Sur. (Road Trip!)
I'm going to work harder at | Making more time to spend with friends and family.
A project I'd like to finish | I've got the pattern and materials to make this pouch. Now I need to do it!
A class I'd like to take | Maybe not a class, but I'd like to (finally) read the manual for my new camera. I'll probably also look into some online tutorials as well!
I'd like to spend some more time doing | This blog! It's a nice little space of my own and an amazing way to document my life.
A food I want to eat more of | A vegan diet.
I want to wear more | Classic and high quality pieces of clothing that I love. It just makes getting dressed so much easier in the morning.
Now that they're written out, I can refer to them throughout the year. Whether or not you participate in making new year's resolutions, hope everyone has a wonderful start to 2015!
