No other city has made we want to deck myself out in vibrant colors quite like Palm Springs. As I mentioned in this post, it seems like every door in this city is painted a different hue. Wanting to get in the spirit, I packed all the colorful dresses I own for our time down in the desert.

I absolutely adore this giraffe print shift dress from the Lilly for Target collaboration. The subtle A-line shape and short hemline makes me feel like I've been transported back to Palms Springs in it's midcentury heyday and my flared out hair only adds to the effect! Very Megan Draper. I paired my bold dress with some more neutral accessories (I dared not detract attention from the adorable orange and pink giraffes!) for a day of brunching and sightseeing.

While normally I'm more attracted to blacks, blues and greys when out shopping, after our trip, I may be a bold color convert. As they say, "orange is the new black!"

Until next time,

- B
